Track Categories

The track category is the heading under which your abstract will be reviewed and later published in the conference printed matters if accepted. During the submission process, you will be asked to select one track category for your abstract.

Before the procedure, the patient will be evaluated by the surgical team to ensure that they are healthy enough to undergo surgery and to determine the best approach to the procedure.

During the surgery, the patient will be given anesthesia to ensure that they are comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. The type of anesthesia used will depend on the type of surgery and the patient's individual needs and preferences.

Oncology surgery is a specialized area of surgery that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer. Cancer is a complex disease that can affect any part of the body and can require a variety of treatment approaches.

Gastrointestinal surgery refers to a range of surgical procedures that are performed on the digestive system. These surgery procedures may be done to diagnose, treat, or manage a variety of conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract, which includes the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.

This surgery may also be used to treat digestive tract cancers, such as stomach cancer or colon cancer.  Depending on the stage of the cancer, surgery may be used to remove part of the affected organ.
