Published 150 manuscripts. Is author of the: Concepts of “Physiological Instability of the Spinal Cord”, “Time related Biomechanical Instability” & “Micro-instability of the injured spine”. He published the most comprehensive & longest follow up on Post Traumatic Syringomyelia & Bladder cancer in SCI patients. Published on the discrepancy between the radiological and neurological presentations and the value of pin prick sensation in predicting neurological outcomes in well managed patients. He is Past-President of the International Spinal Cord Society & Past Chairman of the British Association of Spinal Cord Injury Specialists. He lectures world-wide and has won many National and International awards. He is Founder member & Chairman of Trustees of SPIRIT Educational Charity in Spinal and Founder member of Transhouse. He and his team were commended in the House of Lords on two occasions.

Diana-Lidia Tache-Codreanu has worked at Colentina Clinical Hospital for 13 years. At the age of 45, she obtained her PHD in neurology at Carol Davila University in Bucharest, Romania, by researching the effects of various rehabilitation programmes for the peripheral nervous system. She has spent 13 years as the director of the medical rehabilitation division, the neurological rehabilitation section, and the rehabilitation research core at Colentina Clinical Hospital in Bucharest.
